Recently, the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System approved LRD as an approved provider (# 1400263) of mortgage education courses required by the federal SAFE Act. The NMLS also approved LRD's 4-Hour NJ State Law course (# 1247).

About Your Instructor, Robert M. Jaworski, Esq.
Mr. Jaworski is a consumer compliance attorney and a member of Reed Smith's Financial Services Regulatory Group. He provides advice and assistance to financial institutions, including licensed lenders, with regard to licensing and consumer credit issues, and works with Reed Smith litigators helping to defend financial institutions against individual and class actions.
Before entering private practice in 1992, he served for 7 years as Deputy Commissioner of the NJ Department of Banking in charge of licensing, consumer services, and regulatory development, and was the primary architect of NJ's mortgage processing regulation.
He is a frequent speaker and author of numerous articles, the current Vice-Chair of the NJ Bar Association's Banking Law Section and a past Chair of the Section's Consumer Financial Services Committee, and the former editor of Pratt's Mortgage Compliance Letter, a national mortgage compliance newsletter. He is also the immediate past Co-Chair of the Housing Finance and RESPA Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's Consumer Financial Services Committee.
